Privacy policy
Last updated 28 July 2026
Draft, pending review. This policy was drafted for Tax Solutions Advisory and has not yet been reviewed or approved by the practice. It is not legal advice. Please review it, and confirm the third party services listed, before launch.
Tax Solutions Advisory (ABN 45 686 905 500) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we handle it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect through this website
If you submit the contact form we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the service you select, and anything you write in the message field. If you contact us by phone, email, or WhatsApp we collect whatever you choose to tell us.
We ask you not to send tax file numbers, bank details, or documents through the website form. That warning appears directly above the submit button. If you need to give us those, call us or book an appointment and we will collect them securely.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to arrange an appointment, and, if you become a client, to provide tax agent services to you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use website enquiry details for marketing unless you ask us to.
Third parties involved
Running this website means a small number of service providers handle data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms processes and delivers submissions from the contact form to our email. Form contents pass through their service.
- Vercel hosts this website. Their servers process requests and keep standard technical logs, which can include IP addresses.
- Calendly will handle online appointment bookings once that is connected. Details you enter into a booking are handled by Calendly.
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia. By submitting the form you consent to that disclosure. Each provider publishes its own privacy terms.
Client records
Information collected in the course of providing tax agent services is handled separately from this website, and is subject to our professional and legal obligations, including record keeping periods required under the taxation laws and the Tax Agent Services Act 2009.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why the form asks you not to send sensitive identifiers through it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or complain about how we have handled it. Contact us at m.alim@taxsol.com.au or 0404 390 716, or write to us at 269 St Kilda Road, Kewdale WA 6105. We will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. Complaints specifically about our conduct as a registered tax agent can be made to the Tax Practitioners Board, and that process is set out on our about page.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to say what is collected and how to opt out.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
